Method 1: Run the Hardware troubleshooter and check.
Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:
- Open Control Panel.
- Type Troubleshooting in search and click Troubleshooting.
- Now type Hardware Troubleshooter in the search option.
- Click on Hardware troubleshooter to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Install latest drivers for the USB device and check.
Download the Windows 10/Windows 8 drivers from the Manufacturer's website and install them in compatibility mode.
- Right click on the driver setup file and select 'Properties'.
- Select 'Compatibility' Tab.
- Make a check mark next to Run this program in 'Compatibility mode' and select previous version of Windows supported by the software, from the drop down list.
- Then click on 'Apply' and 'Ok' option.
- Then install the driver.
- Then restart your computer and check how it works.
Method 3: Install optional updates and check.
At the Start screen, type Windows Update. Click on 'Check for Updates' on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.
